Seth turned 5 yesterday! He requested Chinese food for his dinner. So I asked him if he knew what that was and he said no. When I listed all his favorite foods as options for dinner he insisted on Chinese. So I made egg rolls (no easy feat w/ 4 kids, it takes 2-3 hours). The bite you see in his mouth is the only bite he ate. Silly goober, I asked if he had heard about Chinese food somewhere and he told me a girl at school was talking about how she loved it. Well the egg rolls were yummy, even if he didn't want them.
The only thing he asked for as a present was a "ball and glove and a bat too if that's okay". So Eliott went and got him all set for baseball! He has never used a t-ball stand before but he caught on right away. He was hitting the ball across the yard on the second swing! When all was said and done he had a fun birthday and on Saturday gets to go to Peter Piper Pizza w/ a couple friends so he is all set. He did have a little confusion about how long his birthday was, he cried when he found out I couldn't go to school w/ him because he thought his day only lasted while he was at school. Oh a little side note, at school they make a birthday crown for the birthday kid but they ran out of time (he said) and couldn't make him one, so Eliott made his little crown before dinner.

Happy B-day to Seth! The boys are very excited for the Peter Piper pizza and all. And I have to say, Elliott did an awesome job on the crown.
And the PPP party was awesome! Such a blast.
So when your oldest turns five do you begin to feel like an old woman? Jami says hi! We missed you guys at Kimballs little shindigamagigger. Is that a word?
